What the indicator measures—and what it does not
This indicator assesses your knowledge readiness for the IELTS Academic format and task types. It is not an official IELTS test and does not produce a Band Score. Unless an attempt includes real audio, assessed free writing, and evaluated spoken responses, it does not measure listening, writing, or speaking performance in the same way as the official test.
It measures knowledge of the IELTS Academic format, task types, requirements, strategies, and decisions in text-based scenarios. The current bank contains no independent extended reading passages, so it reviews Reading task rules rather than claiming full reading-comprehension measurement.
It does not produce a Band Score, play real audio, collect or assess free writing, record or evaluate speech, reproduce complete official test conditions, or guarantee an outcome.
Quick and Full
- Quick uses 12 questions. It offers preliminary confidence from a short sample of format and task knowledge, not complete four-skill performance.
- Full uses 32 questions. It covers a broader range of format knowledge and task types for more detailed review priorities.
- Both modes use the same text-only bank and remain knowledge-readiness indicators, not Band Scores or official simulations.
How the result is formed
The engine summarizes a categorical outcome and review priorities across Listening Task Readiness, Reading Task Readiness, Writing Task Requirements, and Speaking Task Requirements. Personalization shapes the plan but not the knowledge calculation. Internal estimates remain hidden.
Practical verification after the indicator
- Use real audio under task conditions.
- Complete timed Academic Reading passages.
- Produce complete Writing responses and obtain feedback against the published criteria.
- Record spoken responses and obtain qualified feedback.
Storage, sharing, and limits
- Assesses knowledge of the IELTS Academic format and task types, not complete four-skill performance.
- Contains no real audio, assessed free writing, or evaluated spoken response, so it does not measure listening, writing, or speaking in the official format.
- Does not produce a Band Score, official outcome prediction, or receiving-organization decision.
