What the assessment measures

Foundations

Lean Six Sigma principles, roles, value, waste, and project logic.

Map one real process from customer need to value, waste, project charter, roles, and expected financial impact.

Define

Problem framing, VOC, CTQ, chartering, stakeholders, and SIPOC.

Rewrite a real problem as a measurable gap, define scope boundaries, and connect VOC to one CTQ.

Measure

Operational definitions, data plans, MSA, capability, and baseline performance.

Create an operational definition and data plan, then state how you would verify measurement repeatability and reproducibility.

Analyze

Variation, root-cause logic, graphical analysis, and hypothesis-based evidence.

For one suspected cause, write the evidence needed, the comparison or test, and the decision rule before seeing the result.

Improve

Solution selection, risk assessment, pilots, mistake-proofing, and optimization.

Compare three countermeasures using impact, effort, risk, and reversibility; design a small pilot with a success measure.

Control

Control plans, SPC, response plans, standard work, and handoff.

Draft a control plan with metric, frequency, owner, limits, reaction rule, and escalation path.

How to read the result

Foundation Needs Strengthening

You recognize parts of Lean Six Sigma, but the DMAIC logic is not yet dependable across scenarios.

Developing Knowledge Readiness

You have a useful base, with a concentrated gap that affects project decisions.

Strong Knowledge Readiness

Your answers demonstrate consistent understanding and a strong ability to apply concepts in context. You are ready to move to the final verification stage through timed simulations and applied questions. This remains an independent educational indicator and is not a guarantee of passing the official exam.

Use the result responsibly

  • This is a knowledge-readiness indicator, not ASQ or IASSC certification.
  • It does not replace provider-specific eligibility, policy, or exam-format review.
  • It does not verify that you have led a real improvement project.
