How the level system works
Murtaqa reports within A1–B2 because that is the range supported by the current English question bank and report contract. The label summarizes a range of observable performance, not a permanent identity.
The four reported levels
A1 · Foundation
You can recognize and use familiar language in short, highly supported situations.
A2 · Elementary
You can handle familiar everyday exchanges and understand short, direct texts.
B1 · Intermediate
You can function independently in many familiar work, study, and travel situations.
B2 · Upper-intermediate
You can understand complex ideas and communicate with substantial independence.
How to use your closest level
- Choose material that is mostly understandable.
- Start with the lowest measured dimension.
- Connect practice to a real goal.
- Retest after a consistent practice cycle.
